The layout puts the kitchen and living space at the centre, with bedrooms tucked to the end — including a bunk room that tends to be the children's favourite part of the trip. Heating and air conditioning are fitted throughout, so the cottage stays comfortable from the cool edges of the season through to summer.
Outside, a full-size deck runs the length of the cottage with a propane barbecue and patio set, and a stone fire pit sits on the lawn beside it — which is where most guests end up spending the evening.
