Our story
Between the Falls
and the Lake
Peacedale sits in the middle of the Niagara peninsula, fifteen minutes from Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake and twenty from Clifton Hill and the Falls. Buffalo is forty-five minutes away, the GTA about ninety. That position is the whole idea: you can spend a morning on the Niagara Parkway, an afternoon tasting your way along the wine route, and still be back on your own deck before the fire pit gets lit.
The cottage itself is compact and deliberately unfussy — around 500 square feet, 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials you need, and a full-length deck that does most of the living in summer. It sleeps a family of six comfortably, which makes it as workable for grandparents-and-grandkids weeks as it is for two couples sharing a long weekend.
Because Peacedale is part of Vine Ridge Resort, everything around the cottage is looked after for you. Grounds, pools, activities and the Welcome Centre are all run by the resort team, and your nightly resort fee covers access to all of it. You bring the groceries; the rest is handled.

The idea behind PeacedaleWhat we care about
Carefree, By Design
The point of a cottage is that the holiday starts when you park your car. No lawn to cut, no pool to skim, no schedule to build from scratch — the grounds team and the activity calendar take care of the parts that usually eat a first day.
- Grounds, maintenance and utilities handled by the resort
- On-site management and a staffed Welcome Centre
- A season-long calendar of games, crafts and evening events
- Coin laundry on site — sign up at the Welcome Centre
- Fifteen minutes to Old Town, twenty to Niagara Falls
